Mission of the Role: The purpose of this Role is to partner with functional business leaders to identify key business focus areas and drive the talent strategy to improve performance & business impact.

Key accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days

  • Identify key business focus areas & prioritize to improve functional and company performance to achieve highest impact
  • Influence & drive talent strategies to impact business outcomes
  • Lead key talent transformation / change initiatives that have the highest business impact. Partner with key business stakeholders across the world to drive highest organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead & successfully execute functional talent strategies across Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, Leadership roles for the future (e.g. workforce strategy for the function, best cost site, competencies)
  • Own, drive, advise and coach business through the annual talent processes around performance, total rewards, promotions, bonus, annual pay, talent assessment & development, succession planning, engagement, etc.
  • Leverage HR analytics to advise business leaders on key people metrics such as retention, total rewards, engagement, and diversity related outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR peers globally as well as COE leaders to design solutions for functional challenges.
  • Drive people-related initiatives with your communication, coaching and influencing skills, and offer thought-leadership regarding organizational/people-related strategy and execution.

  • Organizational effectiveness (structure, role clarity, capability mix, cost)
  • Improved Business performance with focus on impact especially productivity, cost and growth
  • Leadership effectiveness (quality of hires, succession plans, development plans, 3-year roadmap progress, leadership index)
  • Drive global talent processes focused on impact
  • Functional Talent assessment and development for key roles.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Master’s / bachelor’s degree in Business Management
  • 16+ years of relevant experience preferably in regional or global environment.
  • Experience working with Executive Team and Business Leaders.
  • Experience in strategic business partnering for a global engineering or development organization
  • Experience in supporting an organization that is experiencing global growth.
  • Experience in organizational design, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, business consulting, coaching and development, talent management, data analysis, and diversity and inclusion
  • High levels of business acumen and insight (including knowledge of various strategic, financial, and operational business models).
